Working with me

We come to know ourselves through relationship. My work offers a place where you can slow down and actually listen — to your thoughts, your body, your relationships, and the parts of yourself you've learned to suppress, perform past, or judge.

We start by noticing the patterns that keep repeating — the reactions, relationship dynamics, feelings or choices that don't quite make sense — and get curious about what's underneath them: where they came from, what they were trying to protect, what they might be asking for now.

If a thought like "I want to quit my job and disappear" or "I don't think I want this life" shows up, I won't talk you out of it or explain it away. I'll go into it with you — not to act on it, but to find what it's really asking for. Underneath a fantasy is often a real need your current life isn't meeting, and once we find it, we can often bring a truer version of it home.

As this gets easier, something shifts in how you meet yourself day to day. You can feel difficult things without being flooded by them. Hear the critical voice without automatically believing it. Notice what you want without immediately talking yourself out of it. The less we have to fight ourselves, the more room there is for everything else — clarity, boundaries, honest conversations, risk, rest, repair, leaving, beginning again.

This isn't purely talk-based, either. Where it's useful, we might move into the body, imagination and unconscious processes through visualisation, somatic work or guided imaginative processes. We'll follow what your particular mind and body need.

Courage starts with showing up and letting ourselves be seen.
